Co-op Boarding
Self-Board made convenient

Boarders have the full use of our Facility's amenities AND ......
must be in our Coach's lesson or training program (contact Joanne Uhrig separately).

What is Co-op Boarding?  In general ..........

Co-op board is basically “self board” with a few perks.
Meaning, we share the work load on a fairly even basis.

Joanne looks after all horses noon feed and evening bringing-in/feed during the week, so for Boarders who work or go to shool during the week, can come in the morning or later in the day. In the winter months, horses are brought in around 4:00 before it gets dark.

So What are Boarders responsible for?

Each Boarder is responsible for mucking their own horses stall daily as well as their own turnout paddocks at least twice a week.  Boarders have the flexibility of doing their stalls & paddocks when convienient during the day.
On the weekend, Boarders will share the full Saturday and Sunday which will include the Joanne's horse & stall in exchange for weekday care of all horses .  It will be a shared responsibility with Joanne coordinating the weekly schedule.

Joanne takes the weekends off but will still be available if needed.

Boarders are responsible for their own feed & bedding which can be purchased cooperatively.

Boarders planning a holiday or an emergency
stall cleaning, feeding & turnout service available on an "as requested" basis
